A24 is seeking a Junior Awards Specialist to join the Publicity team for the upcoming awards season. The NY or LA based position is temporary and will go from mid-August to early March. This person will be a motivated self-starter skilled in multitasking, communication, and organization with 2 - 5 years of professional experience in Film PR and/or Awards.

Initial Responsibilities:

• Manage FYC e-blasts and screening invites, including coordinating with designers, fulfillment houses and guilds/awards organizations
• Manage digital awards screeners, including coordinating with internal and external teams on spec requirements, assets and approvals
• Manage DVD awards screeners, including coordinating with internal teams on production and design and external teams on approvals, fulfillment and distribution
• Coordinate FYC website content, including managing assets, materials, and screening information
• Have an awareness and understanding of awards rules and campaign regulations

Qualifications:

• 2 - 5+ years of professional experience in Film PR and/or Awards
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable and proactive, with extreme attention to detail
• Social, humble, diligent, resourceful and enthusiastic team player

Our target compensation range for this position is between $4,500 and $7,200 per month. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting co within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training.
