FP&A Lead

A24 is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Lead (FP&A). As a key member of our Finance team, you will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and other teams across the company to develop accurate forecasts and conduct ongoing financial planning and analysis. 

Initial Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to the CFO and Head of Finance, offering financial guidance, recommendations, and best practices.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and business unit stakeholders. Prepare materials for our quarterly Board of Directors meeting.
  • Lead and plan the annual budget and re-forecasting process in partnership with finance, accounting, and business unit leads.
  • Review and synthesize updates made by business unit analysts.
  • Analyze and monitor financial and operational KPIs and proactively work with cross-functional business partners to identify risks, opportunities, and levers to maximize monetization.
  • Support business units with financial expertise and guidance on strategic initiatives and operational planning.
  • Prepare robust and integrated financial models, and scenario analysis, providing actionable recommendations and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Enhance FP&A processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
  • Drive automation and process improvement initiatives within the FP&A function.
  • Synthesize large, complex datasets, understanding variances and drawing insights. 
  • Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including financial due diligence and integration planning.
  • Evaluate and model potential investment opportunities and strategic projects; provide recommendations and identify gaps or concerns.

Ideal Candidate

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles; CPA a plus
  • Advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Excel and experience managing complex datasets
  • Proven track record of advanced analytics and must be able to lead, define, execute, and collaborate with minimal supervision.
  • Experience forecasting and analyzing financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities in a demanding fast-paced environment
  • Strategic agility, ability to translate nebulous concepts into concrete analysis
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present to all levels of the company
  • Humble, diligent, resourceful

Our target salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $200,000. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, including both cash and equity components, competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits.
